AIS Vitae Award

Vecchie Terre di Montefili is pleased to announce that our Chianti Classico Riserva 2015 has obtained the top prize of QUATTRO VITI in the fifth edition of the guide Vini d’Italia VITAE, edited by the Assosciation of Italian Sommeliers.

Our Riserva comes from Sangiovese vines over 30 years old grown on our galestro and alberese soil high on the hill. We use spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts, and the wine ages for 3 years in large Slavonian oak. All this culminates in an elegant, structured and mineral palate, mediated by the refreshing acidity given by our high-altitude site.

It will be available for tasting at the prizewinners event hosted by AiS on:
