Our Anfiteatro 2015 has been awarded 95 points by Wine Spectator in the May 29th issue of Wine Spectator Insider.

Made from sangiovese planted in 1975, Anfiteatro represents the depth of flavour and elegance possible from careful custodianship of old vines. Our galestro soils have nurtured thess plants for almost 50 years, and the grapes we harvest are ever more refined and concentrated.

Vecchie Terre di Montefili

Toscana IGT Anfiteatro 2015

This intense red is showing a lot of oak now, yet underneath lies ripe cherry, currant, graphite, underbrush and tobacco flavors. Racy acidity lends definition, building to a long, resonant finish. Patience is required. Sangiovese. Best from 2021 through 2036.
